Tottenham chairman could face "irrecoverable loss of income" if fans do not return to stadiums soon. Tottenham recently spent over £1 billion on there new stadium however not long after it opened it shut again for the Corona virus pandemic.
Recently the UK government have announced that some fans will be allowed back into stadiums however will that be enough for Tottenham to recover as only up to 4,000 people will be allowed in. Along with that out of football events are an estimated £600 million a year.
The main message we should take from Tottenham is that football clubs need help pandemic. If Tottenham one of the country's biggest clubs is struggling finically could you imagine what some of the smaller English teams are doing. Something needs to be done to try and help out hopefully the announcement that some fans are allowed back in can help clubs recover a bit at least.
